Case Study: Athletes for Better Education

Background
AFBE offers two primary services-basketball tournaments and basketball summer camps-to middle- and high school-level athletes. AFBE markets these services through direct mail campaigns and their established network of relationships within the basketball community.

Objectives
Seeking an interactive website to market AFBE events to the state of Pennsylvania and beyond, AFBE turned to Mosaic Interactive. The new site would require an ecommerce-enabled section to allow coaches to register teams for the dozens of basketball tournaments AFBE hosts each spring.

Solution
First, Mosaic Interactive designed and developed a web presence worthy of AFBE's first-rate services. Using consistent navigational structure throughout, Mosaic Interactive has designed an easy-to-use interface, and created banner advertisements to promote other special services.

Mosaic Interactive also developed a robust ecommerce section to allow coaches to register their teams for each tournament and then pay with their credit card, all with the highest level of online internet security. To promote this necessary feature, Mosaic Interactive integrated the basketball tournament information throughout the site to make this feature easy to find.

Finally, Mosaic Interactive provided Search Engine Optimization services to promote AFBE to the state of Pennsylvania and beyond. Using the appropriate keywords, key phrases, and keyword saturation techniques, Mosaic Interactive was able to move AFBE to the top of the search engines on both Google and Yahoo.
